When painting this I perceived Miles as the leader of the Surrealist music movement if there was one, which is why I painted him with two faces like if he was stepping out of his mind while he played. In this classic Miles Davis pose he is leaning back to give his breath more power and his notes more expression and depth. Listen to Flamenco Sketches..you'll be blown away by the first three notes alone. To see more visit www.onemansho.com
This is great.
